Career Aspirations (Desired Position)
Upon completion of my Marketing degree, I would like to enter into the industry as either a Marketing Analyst, Assistant Marketing Manager or a Territory Sales Representative. My interests lie within the consumer & packaged goods market and as such would like to eventually become a Product and Brand Manager or a National Sales Representative. I have full intention on developing my own skills (gaining the experience and knowledge at the entry level) so that I can eventually become a Chief Marketing Officer or Vice President of Sales within a large consumer goods organization.


Who I Am

Currently I am in my final semester as an undergraduate student in the marketing stream. Upon completion, I plan on entering the marketing industry  as either a marketing analyst or district sales representative; preferably in the  consumer packaged goods industry. 
My career path has two distinct directions (Product and Brand Management or a Sales Career) that I have chosen and dedicated my lifestyle, education and current career path towards (for the past decade) in hopes of working within this fast paced, competitive industry. As a marketing student, entrepreneur and marketing enthusiast I believe I will accomplish my future goals with minimal interruption.
Additionally, I utilize my 'free time' to increase my knowledge through extra curricular business activities through volunteering with companies such as Canada's Next Top Ad Exec, Talentegg.ca and AdLounge.

Relevant Experience

I have worked with multiple businesses in North Bay (through my Nipissing Academic career) to help them better understand their current marketing efforts as well as help out with their prospective marketing strategies. In addition to this, I ran a franchise for two summers with College Pro Painters; resulting in a two summer conglomeration of $200,000 in sales. This entitled me to design a marketing/financial plan, hire employees, encompass a customer relationship model and increase sales in a saturated, mature
market. In addition, I worked with PowerBev Inc. (the exclusive Redbull distributor) as a territory sales representative for the summer of 2012; growing sales by 109%, a $225,000 summer sales amount.
